Mount Rainer, WA
Family Christmas Photos

The Hoyles 2018

Wow, it’s already Monday again. Where did the weekend go? Wish I could rewind and repeat the captivating weekend that Mikey and I had.

Yesterday we spent the entire day up in the snow at Mount Rainer with our friends Aly and Alex. Aly is my childhood friend from Berrien Springs, Michigan whom now lives in Washington State with her fiancé Alex.

We absolutely love and adore these two. So instead of hiring a professional photographer to shoot our Family Christmas photos we thought it better to invite friends and make some memories. After packing the Canon accoutrements and warm clothes we were off to conquer our first official Christmas photo shoot. This was Mikey and I first time taking Christmas pictures that wasn’t for a paid sponsorship.

Naturally I picked out both of our outfits, Michael always tries to put something together and it’s just a hot mess, then he thanks me later.

The day before we took a trip to the wonderful town of Edmonds, Washington. Just North of Seattle to pick up a gorgeous dress from Nadia S Evening. I paired the look with a Rudolph red duster coat, this was gifted to me by a South African designer Thoki Tafeni.

I love to compliment my looks with the finest small touches, the candy red Kendra Scott earrings and red lipstick (uncensored) by Fenty beauty wrapped it all up perfectly.

I styled my handsome hubby in a tailored black winter duster from Saks, white pressed dress shirt and bow tie from Menswear House.

Torso complemented with a dark blue velvet blazer from Express. Gentlemen cut pants from Nordstrom, ebony velvet Goorin Brothers trumpet hat.

Stepping forward in Salvatore Ferraegamo navy blue shoes from Neimann Marcus that proved to be perfect snow shoes, just kidding. Mirrored Ray Bans sunglasses from Klahanie Eyewear in Issaquah, Washington. We you had so much fun capturing our first Christmas holiday card photoshoot. It was cold but absolutely magical with the snow falling, the snowflakes were so thick and the air so crisp. We even talked of adopting this into a tradition in our family. So blessed to be creating new memories and traditions with my best friend and lover. Any of you lovely dolls planning on taking Christmas pictures with your loved one?

I would love to hear some of your families traditions and or see your photos. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. Tis the season to celebrate all of the good in this world. Embrace the moment and remember this Christmas that joy is about enjoying life where you are, and where you are going.

Happy Holidays and all the best to you and yours in the year to come!
